A box truck traveling West bound on Interstate 80 lost control early Friday morning and crashed through the guide rail. The truck narrowly avoided going down the steep embankment. The driver self extricated and was transported to the hospital with a head injury. The trucks fuel tank was ruptured, so crews set up pads, booms and used oil dry to contain the 150 gallon spill. Carbon County EMA 1 was contacted in regards to the spill. Units were on scene for 2 hours.
